| Affidavit by Translator |
To apply for Canadian Visa of any type whether
its an immigrant or non-immigrant visa, all the documents which are not in
English or French must be accompanied by translation of these documents in
English or French.
If the translation is done by a non-certified
translator, it must be accompanied with an
Affidavit.
But noted, that you cannot do the translation of your own documents for
Canadian visa. Even your (applicant's) family members, or representatives or
consultants are also not authorized to translate your documents.
The reason behind is that according to the requirement
of Canadian embassy, where the case the translation cannot be done by a
certified translator, it must be done by a recognized or authorized translator/translation
company in the country where translation is has been completed.
