1.
Requirements for Domicile in Punjab Pakistan
Following are the requirements for a domicile
certificate in
- Any Pakistani citizen can apply for a domicile certificate who holds B-Form or ID Card.
- You can apply even you are under the age of 18 years.
- Your can apply for domicile certificate from the place of your permanent address.
- Physical appearance of applicant is mandatory in concerned office.

Documents Required for domicile in
- Copy of CNIC of applicant + Original
- Copies of CNICs of parents of the applicant.
- Residential Address Proof like Sale Deed, Rent Agreement, Affidavit + Latest Utility Bill (electricity, Gas etc)
- Educational Certificate (Primary or Middle or Matric or F.A or B.A etc)
- Vote List (Not mandatory)
- Affidavit for domicile by applicant to be printed on Stamp paper worth Rs. 300/- attested by oath commissioner. (Rate enhanced recently, earlier it was stamp paper of Rs. 100/-)
(Though the requirement of photograph of applicant has been lifted but still, it
is recommended to take at least 2 photograph with you to avoid inconvenience)

The
above said documents recruitment for domicile are for the applicant who is
holder of CNIC and unmarried)
b.
The
documents required for domicile certificate may slightly vary depending upon particular
circumstance of each applicant. The circumstances may include:-
i. Whether
the applicant is below the age of 18 years or not?
ii.
Whether
the applicant is married?
iii.
Whether
the applicant's parents or any of them has died?
iv.
Whether
the applicant has cancelled his previous domicile?
3. Domicile fee in Punjab
Rs. 200/- is the domicile
fee in
4. Where to go for domicile certificate
In punjab, you in your area, office
of E-Khidmat Markaz is available, go there with all the documents.
However, if in your area No E-Khidmat Markaz is available, you can go to concerned Domicile Branch, working under the command and control of Deputy Commissioner.
5. Steps for issuance of Domicile Certificate in E-Khidmat Centre
Once
you have reached at E-Khidmat Centre along with documents required, following
steps will be taken:-
- You will be issued a token.
- Wait until your token number is called.
- Go to concerned counter.
- Your photograph will be taken and data will be entered.
- You will be asked to provide contact number.
- You will received an SMS at the provided mobile number containing PSID for payment of domicile fee. Following is the screen short of SMS requiring you to pay the domicile fee

From E Khidmat Centre, you
will be issued a receipt for receiving the domicile certificate once ready. Following is screen short of domicile receipt,
in which you can see that of domicile registration date is

(Keep this receipt in safe
custody because on the date of delivery, you will be asked to provide the said
receipt)
6. Payment of Domicile Fee online
Once you have received the SMS containing PSID, you can pay the domicile fee online through any Easypaisa account.
During online payment of domicile fee, enter the PSID which you received through SMS. The easypaisa system will automatically fetch the required fee on the basis of PSID. Just proceed and pay the fee for domicile.
After payment of domicile fee, you need not to go to E-Khidmat Centre just for telling them that you have paid the domicile fee. They will automatically know when domicile fee is paid.
7. Domicile Processing Time
Currently, domicile processing
time is usually 15-17 days. Sometime
domicile may be read even before the date so provided. However, delay may happen for any reason.
