| NADRA Domicile Certificate |
In this
article, I am going to clear the confusion / misconception about applying
for a Domicile Certificate to NADRA and issuance of same from this NADRA.
You might be thinking
that currently NADRA is issuing domicile certificate for the reason that applicant
has to go to
Though the
applicants are required to visit
NADRA in no
way is authorized to process any application for domicile certificate nor it is
processing the application for a domicile certificate.
Actually, it
is the Office of Deputy Commissioner, which issues Domicile Certificate to the

Centre is just a facility for the public because it has become very easy to
apply for a domicile at E-Khidmat Center without any hindrance. In fact, the procedure
for obtaining domicile certificate which
was in existence prior to introduction of E-Khidmat Centers was a lengthy
process.
There
are number of counters belongs to
various departments (NADRA, Punjab Police, Traffic Police etc) are available
and working for their own departments.
